- 5 / 5By Kathy SippleMy husband and I have been going to Sawgrass for the past 2 years. We have eaten at Tiger Lily Local Flavors Cafe several times and have always enjoyed our meal. Our favorite stop is visiting Phoebe Plomaritus and her there family members at their Sawgrass store, From My Garden. They sell produce and farm-raised meats from their Kouts farm out of this storefront. They have been committed to sustainable farming practices since the 1960's. I have learned much from my interactions with them. We are not vegetarians, but rather "intentional meat purchasers". When I buy meat these days I try to buy it from local sources that are antibiotic-free, hormone-free, free range and grass fed. This place is my favorite. Note: days of operation are limited; it may be a good idea to call ahead to make sure they're open.September 01, 2016
